     Two words.  Impeachment.  Resignation.

It's quite possible that Donald Trump will be impeached or he will be forced to resign before the scheduled conclusion of his term of office.

Trump has many skeletons in his closet...and the ghosts of those bodies are going to haunt Trump after he's handed the keys to The White House on January 20th, 2017.

Too many people have come forward - over the last year-and- a-half - and blamed Trump of everything from racism to sexual assault.  But despite Trump's toxic tongue with his vulgar vocabulary, 62-million

Americans - for some strange reason - still felt compelled to cast their ballots for the billionaire businessman.  Let us be reminded, however, that not one of the five living U.S. Presidents...voted for Trump.  And that includes two Republicans.  Democrats Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter obviously didn't support Trump...but neither

did Republicans George W. Bush and his father, George H. W. Bush.

What would happen - after Trump takes the chair behind The Oval Office desk - should there be evidence to prove...that he committed acts of criminal offenses prior to November 8th, 2016?  Only time will tellOh I do express my opinions on his temperament...and that I believe he is dangerously unfit to serve as America's President and Commander-In-Chief...but I will not use this forum as a means to put Trump on trial.  I don't like it when Republicans - and yes, even some Democrats - use such social media tactics...along with the mainstream press...in their attempt to unjustifiably prosecute Hillary Clinton...so I refuse to lower myself by doing the same towards Donald Trump.  That all being said...is it inevitable that we will see certain people coming out of the woodwork...and squealing...about Trump's past?  I'm quite certain you can count on that.

Donald Trump has deep, dark secrets that may turn out to be suspicious...and perhaps...indictable.  If "the Trump whisperers" who years ago remained silent...soon decide to make public what they know...we may end up with the first President of the United States to be impeached, convicted and removed from office.  Or...America may experience the second President to resign.

Nobody in the world...nobody in the human race...is squeaky clean.  We have all made mistakes.  We have all "done things" that we regret.  But as a real estate mogul...Donald Trump's involvement with other businesses - and with countries other than the U.S.A. - might result in the demise of his American Presidency.

I, of course, am only speculating.  And since the Sixth Amendment of our nation's Constitution grants everyone the right to be presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law...I personally cannot...and will not...accuse Trump of any specific crime.  Not now.  But two highly respected government officials are among numerous others throughout the country who have done that already.

Vice President Joe Biden calls Trump's actions "the textbook definition of sexual assault."  And Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has labeled Trump "a sexual predator" and "a racist."

But if "The Donald's dirt" rises to the top - as I expect it might - the same Republicans who wrongfully shouted..."lock her up"...about Hillary Clinton...would undoubtedly then express similar

sentiments...about Trump...as they yell even louder..."LOCK HIM UP."

And that's The Controversy for today.

     I'm Gary B. Duglin.

  1. Your comments here are not only laughable but disgraceful. You have no proof of any “skeletons in his closet”. You have proven to be no better than those that have been accused of putting phony news stories on the internet. What deep dark secrets do you have special knowledge of? How do you know any of them? Are you just full of BS! You quote Joe Biden and Harry Reid, you call them “highly respected” I call them a fool and a liar, Biden has no proof of any criminal sexual assault and Reid is a known liar, remember when he said Mitt hadn’t paid taxes which was a lie! How much do you hate Donald Trump to spew these unsubstantiated lies? You ask how 62,000,000 Americans voted for him, we mainly had two choices and we could not vote for someone who wanted a liberal Supreme Court, wanted to give citizenship to illegal aliens and was in favor of the Federal Government running everything, helped bring us ISIS, the list goes on and on about her failures and that is without taking into consideration what many feel were her lies and criminal acts. One of the biggest reasons many people voted for him was they wanted an outsider and someone that would shake things up. You said you would not lower yourself to by doing certain things, well in my opinion you can’t get much lower then what you wrote in this column.

    1. My comments are not intended to be laughable, so if you're chuckling then I feel sorry for you. And my comments are certainly not disgraceful as there is great concern in our country with Donald Trump moving in to The White House. You submitted your remarks at 5:57 a.m. on Monday, December 12th. My column was published on Friday, December 9th at 12:06 a.m. I note the dates and times because a lot has happened over the weekend since the aforementioned editorial was written. There is a great amount of proof of the "skeletons" in Trump's closet. There are numerous women who have accused him of everything from sexual harrassment to sexual assault. My comments are not at all "phony." As for Trump's "deep dark secrets," those could fall under the same "sex" categories. As for how I know of any of those secrets...I don't for sure. But that is why - which you did not acknowledge - that I wrote..."I, of course, am only speculating. And since the Sixth Amendment of our nation's Constitution grants everyone the right to be presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law...I personally cannot...and will not...accuse Trump of any specific crime. Not now. But two highly respected government officials are among numerous others throughout the country who have done that already." And yes, Vice President Biden and Senator Reid are indeed "highly respected" and neither is a "fool" or a "liar." How many times do I have to tell Republicans like you who read my column that I DO NOT HATE DONALD TRUMP. And I have not "spew(ed) unsubstantiated lies." I have not accused Trump, but merely expressed the possibilities. You and others like you are going to be so very disappointed by Trump, especially when the country learns of more and more reasons that he is dangerously unfit to be President of the United States. To want - as you say - "an outsider and someone that would shake things up" is going to be your downfall and the biggest mistake that you and your Republican cronies will have made. You noted that you feel I "can't get much lower than what you wrote in this column." Perhaps you'll feel the same...or differently...once you have read my two more recent commentaries. Please check the archives above and click on the titles...A LETTER TO DONALD TRUMP FROM GARY B. DUGLIN and then, after you've read that, AMERICA MAY NEED A DO-OVER ELECTION. I'll look for comments from you - whoever you are. Maybe you'll not hide under the anonymous umbrella and reveal your name - as I do. GBD

Wayne, if you truly believe that my commentary - TRUMP WON'T LAST 4 YEARS IN THE WHITE HOUSE - is funny...then that's sad. But read the column again...VERY carefully. I think you must have missed the essence of the editorial. GBD

Gary, since almost nothing you wrote is based in fact, I just thought it must have been an attempt at comedy. - Wayne

Wayne, there was no attempt at comedy. I would never make such a serious subject a laughing matter. GBD
