When Inauguration Day 2017 comes...on Friday, January 20th...will Americans hear the United States Marine Corps Band play "Hail To The Chief"...or "Hail To The Czar?"
The specific relationship between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin has been questioned for many months. But with 17 U.S. intelligence agencies - including the CIA - saying that Russian agents interfered with the 2016 Presidential election, it is quite possible that the Russians' tampering could have affected the outcome of the election.
According to a report by The Washington Post - on Friday, December 9th - a senior official of the Obama Administration says, "It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia's goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected."
But Trump himself insisted on Sunday, December 11th that there is no truth whatsoever that Russia had something to do with him defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the November 8th election. Trump told anchor Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, "I think it's ridiculous. I don't believe it."
What puzzles me...and, quite frankly, can be perceived as potentially frightening...is Trump rubbing elbows with the Russians instead of with the CIA and other intelligence organizations in our country. Furthermore, what's spinning around in Trump's head that's making him feel it's unnecessary to meet on a daily basis for intelligence briefings? I suppose he's too busy tweeting. It concerns me to think that Trump is disregarding evidence by America's chief intelligence agency...and that he blatantly believes that the CIA is wrong. It's downright insulting - and some would say blasphemous - that Trump seems to trust Russia over his own country.
But then...let us be reminded that Trump has openly discussed a conversation he had with Vladimir Putin, where Trump says the Russian head of state "could not have been nicer." Plus, we should all remember when Trump urged Russia last July to investigate Secretary Clinton in an effort to find 30-thousand e-mails that some people have alleged are "missing." Mrs. Clinton has testified under oath that all "work-related e-mails" were turned over to the FBI. It is, therefore, apparent that Donald Trump has an affection - if not, the very least, a respect - for Putin and the Russians.
To top off this lovefest for Russia...Trump's likely choice for his Secretary of State - according to the major television networks - has admitted being in bed with Putin - figuratively, not literally - for 17 years. ExxonMobil chief executive officer Rex Tillerson appeared last February at the University of Texas at Austin and revealed close ties with Putin since 1999. And their comradeship became engraved in granite, so to speak, when in 2013, the Kremlin awarded Tillerson one of its highest civilian honors...the Order Of Friendship.
All of the above being said...The New York Times reports that sources have informed the newspaper...that the CIA concluded with "high confidence"...that Russia hacked not only the Democratic National Committee's computer system - which Americans were first advised of in October 2016 by the director of national intelligence, James Clapper, Jr. and the Department of Homeland Security - but that there is no doubt that the Republican National Committee's computers were hacked too. However...only the Democrats' documents were leaked to the public. Meanwhile, current RNC chairman and incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus vehemently slams the suggestion that the RNC was hacked.
But if the U.S. intelligence agencies are indeed correct - which they probably are, based on reporting by two of our nation's most prestigious publications - then the next question I and others would ask is...did Donald Trump participate in these evil deeds and did he know beforehand that the Russians - after hacking DNC and RNC computers - would be handing over such data to Wikileaks in an attempt to influence the Presidential election? Also...did Trump possibly coordinate with Russia - in any way - to meddle with and/or impact our election? Now I'm not accusing Trump of any of that today. I truly am not. Not now. But I do want questions to be answered. I do want total transparency. And preferably I want it before the Electoral College meets to vote on December 19th...and definitely before Inauguration Day.
If all of the aforementioned information is true...and if Americans are provided with definitive evidence that Russian agents are responsible for molesting and manipulating the Presidential election - with or without involvement by Donald Trump - then the November 8th voting should be declared null and void.
Democrats - and other Americans who didn't cast their ballots for Trump - have been thinking about holding another election since November 9th. We might just have to take last month's votes and toss them in to the trash.
President Obama, on December 9th, ordered a full scrutiny of any cyber interference or computer hacking by Russia. The President has reportedly asked that the review be conducted and completed before he departs The White House.
It is imperative that Americans know for certain if the results of the 2016 election were at all tainted because of Russian interference. Therefore, a new election may be the only way for us to know for sure. And I'm not the only one who is publicly expressing these views.
Former CIA operative Robert Baer - in a Saturday, December 10th interview on CNN - surprised anchor Boris Sanchez that if the United States "had been caught interfering in European elections...or Asian elections...or anywhere in the world... those countries would call for new elections. Any democracy would. I mean...I don't see it any other way."
But there is another notion being deliberated about the Internet...and I will quote U.S. citizen Mel Klein, who on December 11th posted his letter to Congress on Facebook, which states, "Congress, pass an emergency bill postponing the vote in the Electoral College until the matter can be properly investigated. If the election was the result of fraud, both Trump and (Mike) Pence are tainted. If preventing the inauguration is impossible, convene an emergency special session of both Houses on January 20th, skip the parades, vote to invoke the 25th Amendment, and remove Trump and Pence temporarily, the moment they take their oaths, until the investigation is complete. This would not be a coup by Democrats; Paul Ryan - the Speaker (of the House) and leader of the Republican Party in Congress - would become acting President."
Americans must be given absolute, positive proof that President Putin or any Russian agents are not responsible for causing an unfair election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The bottom line...there is reasonable suspicion that Russia affected the decision-making of some Americans who were on the fence, as to whether they should support Trump or Secretary Clinton. And obviously, voters did not get the memo that a hostile foreign government, in some way, infiltrated our election process.
I expressed in my December 9th column that Donald Trump - for a variety of reasons - won't last four years in The White House. If the American people, the working press, the Department of Justice and/or the U.S. Congress find evidence that Trump was somehow involved in compromising the Presidential election - which I am, at this moment, not implying - then Trump would be impeached, convicted and removed from office. And then the next question would be...what and how much, if any, did Mike Pence know?
Robert Baer - who is not a Constitutional lawyer - says if there is competent verification that Russia interfered with the U.S. election, "I don't see any other way than to vote again." If there is such concrete substantiation...I would wholeheartedly agree.
And that's The Controversy for today.

Can we please move forward, like it or not Trump won. There is NO evidence that the Russian’s actions (if any) tampered with the actual vote, the DNC’s emails released by WikiLeaks may have influenced some individuals votes but that was a decision made by voters, once given factual information wrongfully gotten but factual. Maybe if the Clinton campaign and the DNC hadn’t rigged the primaries against Sanders, done and said all the other things in those emails, there would have been nothing for the Russians or anyone else to hack and release. I don’t know of any legal way for the Federal Government to have a “do-over election”, you would have to get all 50 states and DC to pass new laws to nullify the 51 elections held on November 8th , you would need to complete this before January 20th. Next, the suggestion that the 25th Amendment would allow Congress to temporarily remove Trump and Pence is untrue. To temporarily remove a President from power needs the following: “Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President” The 25th Amendment requires the Vice-President and the majority of the Cabinet or the Congress to agree on the removal, it also requires proof that the President is unable to carry out his duties, an investigation does not meet that requirement. Even impeachment doesn’t meet that requirement. President Clinton remained in full control during his impeachment. If for any reason (which I don’t see happening) Trump and Pence are sworn in on January 20th and impeached and convicted Paul Ryan becomes President, not acting President but President until January 20, 2021. Please can we just move forward and if evidence of a crime by Trump and or Pence is discovered we should deal with it as prescribed in the Constitution. As a last item, there isn’t any circumstance under any law that Hilary Clinton ends up in the White House, it is Trump, Pence or Paul Ryan.

Americans deserve the right to know if Donald Trump won because of illegal influence by a hostile foreign government. And there is evidence by 17 intelligence agencies - including the CIA - which I noted throughout my column...that Russia did tamper with our election process by hacking both the DNC and RNC computer systems. Therefore, by Russia giving the illegally obtained information about the Democrats to Wikileaks, that information was influential to some voters. When you say "that was a decision made by voters," that's irrelevant in the eyes of the law, according to Constitutional scholars - not just me. As for your comment about Hillary Clinton's campaign "rigg(ing) the primaries against Sanders," all I can do is laugh. There was no "rigging." Besides, Bernie Sanders was never going to be the Democratic nominee. The country knew - as I have said since 2008 - that Secretary Clinton was going to be the Democratic nominee in 2016. It was inevitable. Senator Sanders had originally entered the race NOT to get the nomination, but to move Mrs. Clinton further to the left...which he did. Nobody - including Sanders - ever expected that he was going to receive 13-million votes during the primary season. Also, according to Constitutional scholars and legal experts, there is a way to nullify an election by the Electoral College. And the Electoral College can decide this election. As as I wrote in an earlier column and as The Washington Post reports..."The Constitution lets the electoral college choose the winner. They should choose Clinton." In an article from November 24th, 2016, The Post quotes Constitutional scholar and Harvard Law School professor, Lawrence Lessig, who writes, "The framers believed,' as Alexander Hamilton put it, that 'the sense of the people should operate in the choice of the President.' So the framers created a safety valve on the people’s choice. Like a judge reviewing a jury verdict, where the people voted, the electoral college was intended to confirm — or not — the people’s choice. Electors were to apply, in Hamilton’s words, 'a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice' — and then decide." Therefore, the election can be turned around by the Electors of the Electoral College on December 19th. Regarding Mel Klein's discussion and the 25th Amendment...that notion has been verified...and although it's probably an unlikely possibility...it is indeed possible...and legal. GBD

DeleteLastly, what you and Republicans don't seem to understand...it's not that we, as Democrats, are angry because the Republican won. We certainly would be disappointed no matter who the Republican nominee might have been and if Hillary Clinton had lost. But with this particular election between Mrs. Clinton and Donald Trump, it is purely because a man who is dangerously unfit to serve as President will be sitting behiind The Oval Office desk with access to the nuclear codes and other destructive means to our country. As I wrote in my column of November 14th, 2016 - "Democrats, in general, have never before reacted in the past with such firm opposition when the GOP candidate has won the Presidential election. I've lived through 16 such races and have voted in 11 of them. I was too young for the others. All that being said...I cast my ballots for those Democrats who rivaled the following Republicans: Ronald Reagan in 1980 and 1984...George H. W. Bush in 1988...and George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004. Was I upset when my candidates - President Jimmy Carter...Vice President Walter Mondale...Governor Michael Dukakis...Vice President Al Gore...and then-Senator/now Secretary of State John Kerry - lost? Sure. Obviously. But the Donald Trump electoral vote victory over former Secretary of State Clinton...is completely different than wins by President Reagan... President Bush 41...and President Bush 43. Despite my political disagreements with Mr. Reagan, Mr. Bush and Mr. Bush...they were/are honorable men. Of course I don't agree with hardly anything that any of them did as President...but I liked them as people. I respected them for what they accomplished in their personal lives...and that they lived...or are living their lives...with dignity and integrity. I can't say the same for Donald Trump." GBD
END OF PART TWO OF TWO
This is a post-script to Parts One and Two above.
DeleteAt least Paul Ryan is a decent, honorable and reasonably sensible gentleman who would not put our nation and its citizens in harm's way with a cabinet filled with "nut-jobs" and racists. And don't criticize me for name-calling. Some of Trump's cabinet members cannot be described in any other fashion...and neither can Trump himself. I would take a President Paul Ryan over Donald Trump...in a heartbeat. GBD
First off, I never said the Electoral College could not vote differently, I said there is no legal way to have a “do-over election”, they are not the same. As for Clinton and the DNC rigging the primaries, all you have to do is read the emails; Sanders may have never planned on winning but Clinton and the DNC definitely rigged it to make sure he didn’t. I would like you to back-up your claim the Trump has filled his cabinet with “nut-jobs and racists”, Homeland security: John F Kelly, retired Marine Corp General, Defense: James N Mattis, retired Marine Corp General, Treasury: Steven Mnuchin, Attorney general: Jeff Sessions, Labor: Andrew F Puzder, Health and human services: Tom Price, Housing and urban development: Ben Carson, Environmental protection agency: Scott Pruitt, Commerce: Wilbur Ross, Transportation: Elaine Chao, Education: Betsy DeVos, Energy: Rick Perry and today State: Rex Tillerson. So which are the racists and nut-jobs? I know you will try and claim Jeff Sessions is a racist he is not, he prosecuted Klansman Henry Francis Hays, son of Alabama Klan leader Bennie Hays, for abducting and killing Michael Donald, a black teenager, that prosecution of Hays also led to a $7 million civil judgment against the Klan, effectively breaking the back of the KKK in Alabama. Sessions later brought up Hays's accomplice and Hays's father on federal charges related to the murder—a 1985 AP story quotes Sessions saying "justice has been done" after his office got a life sentence in federal court for Hays's accomplice James Knowles. Sessions attached an amendment to an appropriations bill that gave $1 million to Alabama for the Rosa Parks Library, Museum and Learning Center at Troy State University Montgomery Campus. When Senator Sessions was U.S. attorney, he filed a number of desegregation lawsuits in Alabama and he also voted in favor of the 30-year extension of the Civil Rights Act. Dr. Alveda King niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has defended Sessions and stated he is not a racist and that it is the left playing an unsubstantiated race card. Please defend your despicable statement with facts not you left wing unsubstantiated opinion.
ReplyDeleteShould there be definitive evidence of illegal tampering in the Presidential election, the U.S. Supreme Court could rule to "do-over" the election.
DeleteThe DNC e-mails had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton trying to "rig" the primaries to beat Bernie Sanders.
Although you may not consider a chief strategist/senior adviser to the President as someone part of The White House cabinet - and although officially he may not be - Stephen Bannon will have Donald Trump's ears more than just about anybody. Bannon is a racist. Therefore, he's a nut job. I won't discuss in detail why...as I spent an entire column on that subject last month. But Trump's choice for Attorney General is also a racist. Jeff Sessions defended Trump's proposed ban on Muslims from entering the United States. In 1986, a bipartisan majority of the Senate Judiciary Committee voted "thumbs down" on Sessions to be a federal judge because of charges of racial bias. Sessions has chastised civil rights groups as being "un-American" and "Communist-inspired." Also, Sessions allegedly tagged a white civil rights lawyer - "a disgrace to his race." And Sessions reportedly called a black attorney in his office..."boy." Sessions is a bigot...and a nut job. But then...so is Trump. Rex Tillerson is just as bad as a racist and a nut job as he's in bed with Vladimir Putin. I could go on about some of the others, but I won't waste my time. But I believe my statements are facts...certainly not despicable...and definitely not just "left wing unsubstantiated opinion(s)." As Robert Preston sang so brilliantly as Professor Harold Hill in Meredith Willson's smash hit musical production, The Music Man..."We've got trouble...with a capital T" and that stands for Trump. GBD
First, I do not believe that the US Supreme Court has the authority to order a new election. I don’t think it matters because on Tuesday the Senate will receive the Electoral College’s vote and certify Trump as the next President. The DNC emails showed that they did try to rig the primaries, Dona Brazile giving the Clinton camp questions being asked at debates and much more. You said “a cabinet filled with "nut-jobs" and racists” that is calling retired Generals and others racist and nut-jobs. That is despicable! As for Sessions, he has denied most of the statements you reference and there is no corroborating evidence that he ever made most of those comments. If you look at his history in office he has been anything but a racist. Many of these civil rights groups are borderline un-American. Now you will call me a racist, I’m not! Does trying to protect Americans now make someone a racist; temporally stopping Muslims from entering the USA until we can fully vet them is not racist, it’s smart. Remember both the Director of the CIA and FBI testified before Congress saying we could not fully vet these people. Was FDR a racist, he put 10s of thousands of Japanese Americans in camps? Right or wrong he felt he was protecting America. I don’t believe Trump is a racist, saying many illegal aliens are criminals when many are, is not racist, protecting America from terrorist is not racist, saying the Democrats have done nothing for the inter-cities is not racist, it’s a fact! Wanting a wall is not racist. Do you and the left know what the word racist means, I don’t think so! Tillerson is not in “bed” with Putin, he did business in Russia and was given an award for the work he did in his industry, by the way it is said that his work in Russia created or saved thousands of US jobs. I don’t think I have ever seen such hatred from anyone like you and the left have shown during this election and your defeat. It is time for America to come together and support our new President. He was not my first choice but he is a lot better the having the un-indicted criminal Hillary Clinton as President.
ReplyDeleteConstitutional scholars have stated that the U.S. Supreme Court does have the authority to order a new election...if there is proof of illegal tampering with the voting or illegal influences by a hostile foreign government - which the CIA and 16 other intelligence agencies have stated there has been with Election 2016.
DeleteYes, the odds are that the Electoral College will vote to elect Donald Trump, but this is a man who is in no way squeaky clean and, as I've written in an earlier commentary, he has skeletons in his closet. I truly believe the dastardly dirt will do him in before he has served all four years.
I refuse to debate you on the issue of Donna Brazile, Hillary Clinton, debates, Bernie Sanders or anything regarding "rigging." It has been denied because it is not true.
If you think my remarks about Trump's choices for his administration are "despicable," wait 'til you read my upcoming column later this week. And no...not all in his cabinet are racists and nut jobs. I did not say that everyone fits those categories. However, there are enough that do. But I will also add other words - which I do in my next commentary. And yes...banning Muslims from the United States does make Trump or anybody else a racist. And yes...President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was dead wrong by imprisoning Japanese-Americans in internment camps. Republican President Ronald Reagan, in 1988, signed the Civil Liberties Act, which compensated more than 100-thousand people of Japanese heritage who were incarcerated during World War II. These innocent people were given a formal apology and each surviving victim was paid 20-thousand dollars. Japanese-Americans have been quoted as saying their experience in the internment camps made them have a "sense of shame" since others in our country considered them "betrayers of our country" - which they were not. This was not a way for FDR to "protect America" - as you seem to think. And guess what? As you probably know...Roosevelt was a Democrat. I still feel that what he did was not the way to go.
"Wanting a wall" is indeed racism. Trump has disparaged and offended Mexicans and all Latinos. THAT...is racism. And yes...I know exactly the definition of racism. It's "a hatred or intolerance of another race or other races...discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity."
Rex Tillerson is indeed "in bed" with Vladimir Putin of Russia. My thoughts of earlier stand.
I - along with Democrats across the United States - do NOT have "hatred." It has nothing to do with hate. It's everything I have discussed in numerous columns over the course of the last month or so...and over the course of the last year and a half.
YOU...and your Republican cronies ARE the haters. To state - as you and others have done all year - that Hillary Clinton is an "unindicted criminal" makes YOU despicable and disgraceful. There is no evidence whatsoever that Secretary Clinton ever did anything illegal. As an admitted sexual assaulter and sexual predator...(based on Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Harry Reid's descriptions, among others)...Donald Trump is certainly then...an "unindicted criminal."
GBD
I don’t know who your Constitutional Scholars are but from what I have read and heard, is that if the President of the US Senate (US Vice President) does not get a certifiable vote on December 19, 2016 for any reason, no candidate receives 270, or if the election is flawed or contested in any way. It automatically moves to the House to vote for a new President and the full Senate to vote for a Vice President. As for the primaries being rigged you can deny it all you want but Debbie Wasserman Schultz didn’t resign in disgrace for no reason, Donna Brazile didn’t get fired from CNN for no reason, the list goes on and on. Once again you didn’t answer the question was FDR a racist? By your rules for Trump, FDR was a racist! Wanting a wall is not racist, any more than having a door on your house or a fence with a gate around your property is racist. Trump did not disparaged and offended these people because they were Mexican or Latinos but because they broke the our laws coming here, they are illegal aliens. I do not believe that Trump hates or is intolerant of any people because of their race or ethnicity; he may be intolerant of these people because they are illegal and many of them are violent criminals and should be sent back! He is not anti-immigrant neither am I but I am as I believe he is very anti-illegal immigrant. Banning people that can’t be fully vetted is not racist it is smart. As for Rex Tillerson as I said he did a great deal of business in Russia, there is no facts to say he is in bed with Putin. Fake news! When you claim that you and most of the left are not filled with hate it is laughable. All anyone has to do is listen to your party leaders or read your columns and you can easily see the venomous hatred you and the left have for Trump and any conservative. As for my comments about Hillary Clinton in my opinion if Loretta Lynch and or President Obama or some other high ranking official in the White House had not pressured the FBI and they were allowed to send the case to a Grand Jury as the investigator who actually worked the case wanted, she would have been indicted. We are not haters we are Americans we leave the hate to you and the left.
ReplyDeleteIt is true that if the Electoral College doesn't elect a candidate with 270 votes then the election needs to be decided by the House of Representatives. That is not what we were discussing. My point was...and still is...that if there is definitive evidence of tampering or influence by a foreign government that the U.S. Supreme Court can rule for a new public voting. And now, with today's news that there reportedly is that "definitive evidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin was directly involved with meddling with our Presidential election, that means Hillary Clinton was not given a fair shot at winning since Putin wanted Donald Trump and was apparently going to do whatever he could so that Trump would win. Therefore, it brings up more questions about Rex Tillerson. I'll just leave it at that. But it's obvious today that Tillerson is "in bed" with Putin. It is NOT fake news.
DeleteI refuse to debate the Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Brazile issues as there is no proof of any of that. And even if there was, it had nothing to do with Secretary Clinton herself.
I think I was very clear in my answer about Franklin Delano Roosevelt while he was President during World War II. When there is "a hatred or intolerance of another race or other races...discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity" then that is racism. The specific actions performed by FDR - under those particular circumstances - were then, in fact, racist. Trump, however, has let it be known of his bigoted behavior in many different ways over the course of the last year and a half. And that includes his comments about Mexicans and Latinos, in general. There should not and will not be "a wall." Mexico will never pay for it - as Trump had insisted during the campaign - and Congress will not authorize its funding because it will add to our country's debt. To put it bluntly...it ain't gonna happen!
You can laugh all you want, but "the left" (as you continue to call us in a derogatory tone) are not "filled with hate." My columns do not express hatred, they express facts and concerns for the United States. It is your hatred of Hillary Clinton that continues to go on and on and on. There was no "pressure" on FBI Director James Comey by President Obama or Attorney General Loretta Lynch. There was no reason for Secretary Clinton to be "indicted" because she did nothing illegal.
You are a HATER just by virtue of your statement that "We are not haters. We are Americans. We leave the hate to you and the left." Yeah...you're a hater.
GBD
If the Electoral College does not elect a candidate with 270 votes for any reason it moves to the House, the court cannot order a new election, there is no provision in the Constitution for a do-over, it goes to the House, period. If not we would not have a President or Vice President at 12:01pm January 20,2017 so at that time the Speaker of the House becomes President, not temporary President, he gets it until January 20, 2021. Of course it had to do with Clinton; she is not stupid where did she think the questions from the debates came from. So, you are stating FDR was a racist. As for Trump being a racist, I challenge you to find any statement that he stated about any race in general, not comments made about or directed to illegal aliens, not comments directed at protecting America from terrorist . Just remember not all Muslims are terrorist but all the 9/11 terrorist were Muslim and ISIS is Muslim, Al-Qaeda is Muslim and the Taliban is Muslim the list goes on of the people that want to kill us, so sometimes it better to be safe than sorry. That’s not racist it’s smart. As for the wall, we must secure our boarder, unless someone comes up with a better way, we need a wall. To stop the drugs, the illegals, the possible terrorist, one again the list goes on and on. I stand by my statements about Clinton; why else would the recommendation to bring it to a Grand Jury by the investigating agents and lawyers be ignored, the White House wasn’t going to let it happen. I use the term “the left” to describe you and your party not as a term of hate. I don’t hate you or the left. I believe your policies and beliefs are not good for America or Americans. I also don’t believe that those beliefs and policies honor the US Constitution. I don’t hate you or the left, I may pity you but not hate. I do not name call the way you do or show the hatreds you have in your heart. You are a true hater.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you're the same person who wrote the earlier comments responding to the column above, but if you are, then I'm truly sorry to say what I'm about to write. Either you are educationally challenged and simply cannot read what I have stated several times now...or...you just don't want to admit that I am right. Here it is one more time. Maybe if I type in large letters you will understand. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE WHEN I DISCUSS A DO-OVER ELECTION. THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I AM STATING. FORGET ABOUT THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE FOR A MOMENT. IF THE U.S. SUPREME COURT RULES THAT THERE WAS ILLEGAL TAMPERING OR THAT A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT (SUCH AS RUSSIA - INCLUDING THEIR PRESIDENT, VLADIMIR PUTIN) MEDDLED WITH OUR ELECTION - AS THE CIA AND 16 OTHER U.S. INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES HAVE CONFIRMED - THEN OUR HIGH COURT CAN DECIDE TO ORDER WHAT IS BEING CALLED A "DO-OVER" ELECTION. Get it now? Do you hear what I'm saying. This has NOTHING to do with the Electoral College.
DeleteAgain, I will not debate the issue of Hillary Clinton and the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Brazile, etc. You and the other comments made (by you or others) are not factually accurate.
Must I repeat myself again? You must be educationally challenged (and I'm being kind with the use of those two words rather than calling you something else). What President Franklin Delano Roosevelt did by imprisoning thousands of Japanese-Americans during World War II in internment camps was in fact a form of racism. it was "a hatred or intolerance of another race or other races...discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity"...and that is racism. FDR was wrong and President Ronald Reagan - a Republican, who in this matter I agree with and applaud - offered a formal apology to those victims who were still alive in 1988...and gave each person 20-thousand dollars. Donald Trump's remarks about Mexicans and Latinos in general were racist statements. FDR (a Democrat) was wrong. Trump is wrong. If you call what Trump wants to do..."smart"...then you and Trump are not living up to what America has stood for since 1776. Freedom. Liberty. For EVERYONE.
I repeat myself again. Mexico will not pay for a wall (as Trump insisted they would during the campaign). And the U.S. Congress will not authorize funding for a wall. Not even a Republican Congress. In fact, especially not a Republican Congress, as they don't want our debt to rise higher than a kite. "The Wall" will not happen. Not over the next four years...not over the next eight years...not over the next 80 or 800 years. A wall between the United States and Mexico will NEVER happen.
I'm done arguing with you about Hillary Clinton. Mrs. Clinton is innocent...totally. She has never been charged with a crime...never been indicted for a crime...never been convicted of a crime. And the reason is because Secretary Clinton never did anything illegal. STOP already.
The policies of Democrats, liberals, progressives, "the left" do indeed honor the Constitution. You are a disgrace to the American people to make such an accusation towards tens of millions of us. Do not pity me...or any Democrats. You nauseate me and sicken me to my stomach. There is no hatred in my heart...but you are certainly a HATER...and we all know it.
We are done here...so go away. I'm tired of discussing these matters with you.

I am not the educationally challenged one you are. I know what you were saying and I was trying to tell you that the US Supreme Court has NO constitutional authority to order a “re-do election” . The Constitution , Article 2,Section 1, Clause 2 grants the sole power to the Legislature of each State the power to appoint Electors, therefore only the States would have the right to call for a new election if time allowed. Since time would not allow if the States declared the election invalid the job of voting for a new President would fall to the House. If the House failed to do so, on January 20,2017 the Speaker would become President. Once again I will tell you the Supreme Court DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTORITY TO ORDER A “RE_DO ELECTION” no matter what happen or how the election was interfered with. I will not debate your foolish answers on the DNC, the facts are the facts and no matter what you say or think the facts are they rigged it. I will not debate you on your uneducated statement “Freedom. Liberty For EVERYONE. This country has never said for Everyone, it is only for every American and for those who are LEGALLY here, NOT ILLEGAL ALIENS! We have not had open borders for anyone that wants to come just to be able to come, we have had rules and quotas and we need a wall to protect our borders. I also won’t debate Clinton, she was protected by the White House, period. As for the left honoring the Constitution, when they start honoring the 2nd amendment, the 10th protecting states Rights, Freedom of Religion not from, when the left does that and more I will believe they honor that document. Once again with your name calling it proves you are the hater! I know you may not publish this, left wing never likes to publish facts that prove them wrong but I had to say my piece.
ReplyDeleteNope, you're wrong. Unless you're telling me that you are a Constitutional scholar or a Harvard Law or Stanford Law graduate with a specialty in the U.S. Constitution, I am going to believe the Constitutional scholars and the Harvard Law and Stanford Law professors that have been appearing on network and cable news television shows for the last month...and they say exactly what I have written...that the U.S. Supreme Court can rule to order a so-called "do-over" election when there has been foul play. Tampering in an election and a foreign government influencing an election are illegal and the High Court can rule accordingly. Now I'm not a Constitutional scholar or a lawyer of any kind, so I have to depend on those who are...to be accurate with their statements. I believe those individuals...not you.
DeleteYou don't want to stop about Hillary Clinton, the DNC, etc., etc. There is no proof of what you are saying, so STOP!!!
Freedom and Liberty for EVERYONE has always been what our nation stands for. Do you have parents, grandparents or great-grandparents? At some point one or more of them came over "on the boat." In your eyes they were "illegal aliens." Shame on you.
STOP, STOP, STOP!!! I'm not giving you the final word on this, so STOP!!! Hillary Clinton was not "protected by The White House." You and the other Hillary haters can believe what you want, but STOP!!!
Democrats honor the U.S. Constitution. Again STOP with your insults and untruths.
HATER, HATER, HATER...YOU ARE THE HATER...and your remarks show it each and every time.
NOW STOP. I will not publish any further remarks from you on these matters.
By the way...my name and face are on my column, but you and other Republicans who respond to my commentaries refuse to post your names and photos. You spew your venomous drivel, but hide in the shadows and in the conservative closets without revealing yourself to the world. What a shame. That surely says something about you.
