DONALD TRUMP...IS NUTS

After reading the commentary below, please express your own thoughts.  Instructions on how to do so are written at the bottom of this column.  Thank you.

I'm going to make this commentary somewhat short and...well, not so sweet for Donald Trump.

What I'm about to convey in this column goes way beyond claims by other Americans that the Republican nominee is mentally unbalanced and unfit to be President of the United States.  For that is a clinical evaluation.  What I am stating is a characterization.

In recent weeks, Donald Trump has encouraged Russian President Vladimir Putin to hack in to Hillary Clinton's computer...in the hope of finding about 30-thousand deleted e-mails.  Some have questioned whether Trump should be charged with treason...for urging a foreign government to break in to the computer of a former United States official who is now running for President.

But with his campaign in total turmoil...Trump - in his warped mind - seems to think that he must spew venomous vocabulary everyday.  On Tuesday, August 9th, 2016...Trump made what some people have labeled a threat...of assassinating the former Secretary of State if she becomes President...and he concurrently made similar death threats against any U.S. Supreme Court Justices that Mrs. Clinton may appoint.  The billionaire businessman - at a campaign rally in Wilmington, North Carolina - vocalized an off-the-cuff comment...

suggesting that gun owners...kill Hillary Clinton and/or those high court judges...because he wrongly believes a President Clinton would try to abolish the Second Amendment.

Trump made another incendiary and vulgar viewpoint while at a raucous rally in Sunrise, Florida on Wednesday, August 10th...when he falsely declared

that President Obama...created ISIS.  "He is the founder of ISIS.  He's the founder of ISIS, okay.  The founder.  He founded ISIS.  And...I would say the co-founder...would be crooked Hillary Clinton."  Trump doubled-down and reiterated his obnoxious observation...no fewer than seven times in one day.  But then on Thursday, August 11th...said his criticism was "sarcasm."

For some time now, Donald Trump has made accusations that our nation's election system is "rigged."  On Friday, August 12th - speaking to a crowd in Altoona, Pennsylvania - Trump insisted there has been voter fraud in the past...specifically with "The Keystone State."  But in 2012...or any other Presidential election year...

there has never been any evidence or proof whatsoever of voter fraud.  Yet Trump - as the poor sport that he is - contends that the only way Hillary Clinton can beat him in Pennsylvania ...is by "cheating."  Pennsylvania is vital in order for Trump to secure the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win The White House on November 8th.

Trump's outrageous and unwarranted assertions...prove he does not have the temperament to be President...and the polls now show he is losing "college educated white men and women"...along with so many other demographics.  The "Trump Slump" has him lagging in the polls...in several battleground states... including Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

To top it off - and remaining on the defensive - the real estate mogul blames the media for his downfall.  As he has done all year...Donald Trump continues to stoop to a level never before seen by any Presidential candidate in history.  At the same Altoona rally on Friday, August 12th...Trump compared the press...to amebas.  While pointing to the journalists covering the event, Trump - in a nasty tone - said, "These people are the lowest form of life...the lowest form of humanity."

Donald Trump's insults and other offensive language is as repugnant as anything we have ever known from someone running for political office.  From his disrespectful and shameful slams towards the Gold Star parents of a U.S. military hero who was killed in Iraq...detestable attacks against women...against a disabled reporter... against a Vietnam prisoner of war...against Muslims...against Mexicans...and against a federal judge, among others...Donald Trump is no better than scum.  He would wickedly abuse "Santa Claus," "The Easter Bunny" and "The Tooth Fairy."

I will let professionals in the field of psychiatry...and other psychological experts with educational degrees in the area of mental health...make any medical diagnosis about the Republican nominee.  However - based on his reckless remarks - there is no doubt in my sane, sensible and sound mind...and quite frankly in the minds of millions of other Americans...that Donald Trump is one pistachio short of a Planters picnic.  Donald Trump...is NUTS.

And that's The Controversy for today.

  1. Why do you continue the liberal media’s and the democrat lies, how could Trump encourage Putin to hack Hillary’s server? The server has been de-installed for over a year. What he said was that he felt the Russians had successfully hacked her server in the past and said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” he never encouraged them to hack her, he said they already did and wanted them to look through what they had and find the so called missing emails. Next he never made and threat or encouraged or suggested anyone should commit violence against her or the Court. By the way she has stated in the past she would like to reverse Heller or have it over turned which would remove most if not all federal protections on individual gun rights. As for creating ISIS Obama and Clinton may not of “founded” it but their actions and polices gave us the growth from being “the JV team” 500 members worldwide, to now having over 40,000 and some military experts have said more like 100,000 members. That’s all do to Obama and Clinton. Now for the latest claim about a ridged system for the elections, in 2008 the new Black Panthers intimidated people at voting sites in Philadelphia again in 2012 with nothing ever done about it, now we have electronic voting machine that top experts have said are “scarily easy targets” for hackers to change the results of an election. Trump is right on a lot of what he says, our boarders, most of the media, extreme Muslim terrorists, ISIS, Hillary and Obama. I am not a big Trump fan and if I had a choice he would not be someone I would vote for but between him and Hillary, she being the most untrustworthy, dangerous to our Constitution, incompetent person ever to get a nomination I have to hold my nose and go with Trump. You could be right about him being nuts but she is more dangerous. His danger can be controlled by Congress or if needed later repealed, one of her biggest threats to our country is who should would nominate to the courts. Unelected judges that can eliminate our right and take away our freedoms as the left wishes to do. That is one of the major reasons I could never vote for her, she as Obama has been and most of the left is anti the Constitution. All you have to do is look at the Democrat platform to see their dislike and in some cases hatred for our Constitution!

    1. Wayne, I can't debate you when you continue to react with the same falsehoods with all of my columns. Therefore, I'm not going to reply to any of the same things that I have already responded to. But I will say the following. ISIS is an off-shoot of al-Qaeda and the roots of ISIS began to grow in 2004, which was during the administration of President George W. Bush...long before President Obama was elected, nominated or even announced his run for The White House. So, therefore, the "actions and policies" of neither Mr. Obama nor Hillary Clinton had anything to do with the creation or growth of ISIS. Every investigation has proven that was no voter fraud or election fraud of any kind in Philadelphia in 2012 or at any other time. Again, I will not comment on any of your other remarks as I have done that over and over again. But every time you make despicable comments about Democrats' "dislike and in some cases hatred for our Constitution"...you nauseate me...so stop it. Furthermore, it shows that it is you who are the hater...not me...and not Democrats. GBD

  2. Nothing I stated was a falsehood, just more left wing lies on your part. Once again you prove that you are no better than the mainstream media. I never said Obama or Clinton created ISIS, I did say they are responsible for its growth. President Obama called them the JV team. ISIS’s growth was due to the action by the Obama Administration, pulling out of Iraq without leaving any residual force in place, against the advice of the Generals on the ground but with the advice and support of then Secretary of State Clinton, its growth continued with the vacuum in Libya caused by the Obama Administration with the support of Clinton. As for my comments about Clinton and the Democrat’s dislike for the US Constitution, I don’t hate but as for you and the left, if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

    1. I refuse to continue a debate and to argue with someone who clearly can't acknowledge the truth that what I have stated about President Obama, Secretary Clinton and the Democratic Party are indeed facts not falsehoods...and certainly not "left wing lies." But I will make this final comment on this subject...and not again. You and other Republicans want to continue to wrongly use President Obama's quote about ISIS being the "JV team." So let's finally get the record straight - direct from Pulitizer Prize winner, PolitiFact, for which I quote here. "Critics have maligned Obama’s 'JV' remark in recent weeks as the Islamic State continues to wreak havoc throughout Syria and Iraq. The origin of the comment is a New Yorker profile of Obama by editor David Remnick. The New Yorker published Remnick’s profile on Jan. 27, 2014. In it, he wrote, 'In the 2012 campaign, Obama spoke not only of killing Osama bin Laden; he also said that Al Qaeda had been ‘decimated.’ I pointed out that the flag of Al Qaeda is now flying in Fallujah, in Iraq, and among various rebel factions in Syria; Al Qaeda has asserted a presence in parts of Africa, too.'Obama responded: 'The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.' (For the nonsports fan, JV stands for junior varsity, and it usually means a high school or college's secondary team.) Remnick confirmed to PolitiFact that the interview took place on Jan. 7 and he was referencing a specific event that had happened just days before: the overtaking of the Iraq city of Fallujah on Jan. 3." Again, the above is a direct quote from PolitiFact published September 7, 2014. You can't argue PolitiFact and, therefore, President Obama never referred to ISIS - as a whole - being the "JV" team. And as I noted in my earlier response to you...your remarks - about "Democrats' dislike for the U.S. Constitution - are despicable. There is no reason to think that - regarding our Constitution - Democrats hate it. It sickens me when you and other Republicans make that deplorable statement. I am done with you on this topic and will not respond to any other remarks regarding the column above. GBD
