Please sing the verses below to the melody of "New York, New York" - which was the theme for the 1977 Martin Scorsese motion picture with the same title. John Kander composed the music and Fred Ebb wrote the original lyrics. The song was performed in the
movie by Liza Minnelli, but Frank Sinatra's 1979 recording
is probably what is best known to Americans... especially New Yorkers and any New York Yankees fans. "Ol' Blue Eyes'" version is played at the end of every home game at Yankee Stadium.
The following are my lyrics...in honor of Hillary Clinton's New York Primary victory on April 19th, 2016. The first verse is the tune from the first verse of "New York, New York"...while the second verse is to the melody of the song's last verse.
Start spreadin'...the news...
She's winning...today...
She has...made it big tonight...
In old New York.
And then on...No---vember 8...
Hillary...will be great...
When she's e---lect--ed...
Pres---i---dent.
And that's The Controversy for today.

ReplyDeleteBy her own admission under Oath. Hillary Clinton cannot hold public office, Pretty straight forward, under most administrations.
U.S. Code, Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 101, Section 2071,
18 U.S. Code § 2071 -
Concealment, removal, or
mutilation generally
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Your comment is ludicrous. First of all, former Secretary of State, General Colin Powell admitted to using a personal e-mail address and current Secretary of Defense Ash Carter has admitted doing the same thing. Furthermore, half of the various Cabinet Secretaries in both the Democratic and Republican parties have admitted to using their own personal blackberry devices and e-mail addresses. These are facts. Plus, the law you refer to is similar to laws that say a person cannot spit on a sidewalk, or jaywalk across a street. Theoretically, a person can be arrested for either but no court in the world would ever convict anyone for such a "crime." And most prosecutors would never ever prosecute. As for your issue with Hillary Clinton, let's see what the authorities say. Remember this...if the Justice Department has Secretary Clinton indicted, they would also have to indict General Powell and every other federal government official - from both parties - who do the same things. It's not going to happen. It would not be acceptable to the American public. So spend your energies on more important issues and stop harping on Hillary's e-mails and a server that was perfectly legal to use - even though Secretary Clinton has said - given 20/20 hindsight - she would not have done it. But she broke no laws. GBD
