HILLARY CLINTON "WILL GET THINGS DONE"

      After reading the commentary below, please express your own thoughts.  Instructions on how to do so are written at the bottom of this column.  Thank you.

     The Controversy takes on a different style for my commentary this week.  Instead of writing a long-form editorial, I've decided to share with you some of my Tweets from the Thursday night, February 4th, 2016 Democratic Presidential Candidates Debate on MSNBC between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.  These are Tweets that were "liked" by numerous Americans who were also watching the debate...and Tweets that were re-Tweeted by a great many people throughout the night.  I welcome those of you reading The Controversy right now to express your own views - at the bottom of this column - about Secretary Clinton and about Senator Sanders...whether you are in favor of one...or the other...or neither.  For purposes of this blog, I am not including any of the Twitter handles that I tagged at the end of my Tweets.  I am re-printing my Tweets exactly as they were written for Twitter.  My first Tweet below was extremely popular and was re-Tweeted over and over again.

     I am a #Liberal, #progressive #Democrat.  So is @HillaryClinton & as #President she will get things done.

     @HillaryClinton is the ONLY one who can get things done.

     #America needs #HillaryClinton in the #WhiteHouse.  She will #getthingsdone.

     @HillaryClinton will #getthingsdone in #Washington.  #Hillary is the best for #America.

     @HillaryClinton wants to be #President and she will #getthingsdone.  She will be a perfect #commanderinchief.

     @HillaryClinton will continue to make progress.

     On #domesticissues and #ForeignPolicy there will be no one better in the #WhiteHouse than #HillaryClinton.

     #HillaryClinton has excellent #judgement.

     @HillaryClinton will be an #ActionPresident.

     #Hillary is killing it at the #DemDebate.  She is on #topofhergame.  It'll be a #LANDslideWIN for #HillaryClinton.

     #HillaryClinton won Iowa.  Now let's move on.

     #HillaryClinton is by far the #strongestcandidate and she will make a #greatpresident.

     Stop already about the e-mails.  #HillaryClinton did #nothingwrong.

     @HillaryClinton has the #Experience to be a #greatpresident.  Tonight's #DemDebate proves that #Hillary is best for the job.

     @HillaryClinton will not only do good for #America, she will do #greatforAmerica.

     Superb #DemDebate by moderators @chucktodd & @maddow.  They allowed @HillaryClinton & @SenSanders 2 debate w/o it being a show 4 the anchors.

     Tonite's #DemDebate was #bestdebate in modern political history.  @HillaryClinton & @SenSanders discussed issues.  Didn't fight like the #GOP.

     A couple of tiffs between @HillaryClinton & @SenSanders at the Feb. 4 #DemDebate, but this lady and this gentleman gave us a classy debate.

     And that's The Controversy for today.

     I'm Gary B. Duglin.
